Yagos Zabarlukos is a Greek Cypriot civil engineer and politician. He was Minister of Transport and Works of Cyprus.
Biographical data
Yagos Zabarlukos was born in Nicosia on 24 February 1926. He attended English School. He then studied civil engineering at the University of London. After working for six years in Great Britain, he returned to Cyprus and worked as an executive engineer in the Water Department for three years. In 1965–1972 he worked as a consulting engineer.
He is married to Ilise Zabarluku and has two daughters.
Path Policy
On 16 June 1972 he was appointed Minister for Transport and Works in the Government of Archbishop Makarios III 1968. He remained in this position and in the Archbishop Makarios III Government 1973, until 15 July 1974, the day of the coup.
