Yaniv Ezra

Early Life and Career

Yaniv Ezra (born May 12, 1983) is a retired Israeli footballer who played as a striker.

Club Career

Ezra began his career in 2000 with a sports club group. In 2003, he was loaned to Ashdod for one season from the National League, and then returned to Ashdod. During this period, Ezra made seven appearances for Israel's young team, scoring one goal.

In 2006, he moved to Paralimni in the Cypriot Premier League, which was managed by Nir Klinger at that time. However, he quickly returned to Ashdod after playing only one game with Paralimni. In the 2006/2007 season, Ezra scored 15 goals for Ashdod and was crowned King of the Premier League.

Move to Tel Aviv Brigade

In 2007, Ezra moved to the Tel Aviv Brigade, which paid him approximately $800 thousand. However, he did not achieve much success in his new team, scoring only one goal in 18 games throughout his first season. Despite this, Ezra won the Teto Cup with the team, but was injured towards the end of the season and underwent surgery on his knee.
