Early Life and Career

Yiasemakis Yiasemi (born 31 May 1975) is a retired Cypriot footballer.

Club Career

He began his professional career in 1995 at Enosis Neon Paralimni, where he played for three years. In 1998, he moved to APOEL Nicosia, where he won the Cyprus Cup with the team and played for three seasons. In 2001, Yiasemi signed with PAOK Thessaloniki FC in Greece, where he spent six years, winning the Greek Cup with the team and participating in the qualifying stages of European competitions.

In 2005, PAOK was a member of the group stage of the UEFA Cup, where Yiasemi scored a double against Rennes. In 2007, he returned to Cyprus and played for Aris Limassol (one season) and Ethnicos Akhna (one season). In the 2009/10 season, he played in the second league for AEK Larnaca, after which he completed his playing career.

National Team Career

Yiasemi debuted with the Cypriot national team on March 31, 1998. He went on to play 63 games for the national team until 2009.
