### Mongol Conquests

The fall of Hangzhou marks a crucial stage in China's history, because it leads to the reunification of Chinese space, but under foreign domination and within the vast expanse of the Mongolian Empire whose boundaries ranged from Korea to the Mediterranean (Petite Armenia), and from Canton to the centre of today's Turkey, including Iran and Iraq.
