Events
1465: early reign of Zu Ding, fifteenth king of the Shang Dynasty in China according to tradition.
Around 1465-1440: reign of Tudhaliyah, king of the Hittites. Tudhaliya, who has horrite and kizzuwatnian ties, founded a new dynasty in Hattusa. He won victories over the Hourrites, weakened by their struggles with Thutmosis III, which allowed him to dominate the Kizzuwatna, and temporarily seized from Aleppo. He renews the leadership staff: dignitaries and princes with the names of Horrites share power with the old Anatolian aristocracy. The dignitaries, first chosen from the royal family, then from the large families of the aristocracy, assume duties (service of the Royal House, army and administration) that put them in contact with all sectors of activity. The governors have the task of bringing justice to justice in connection with the Old Councils found in the cities and ensuring strict observance of religious holidays. Outside the Hittite territory itself, administration is indirect. The vassal princes of the conquered territories recognize the authority of the Grand King, whose representatives ensure that orders and obligations are respected and carried out properly. The princes of the territories that have been attached to the empire by treaty are the "protected" of the king: their obligations are of the same nature, but often lighter and relations are more diplomatic.
1462: In the year 42 of the reign of Thutmôsis III, the king of Mitanni, the princes of Kadesh and form a last coalition. Thutmosis arrives by sea in Simyra, takes the neighbouring port of Irkata, favorable to the coalized, then invests Tounip. He walks on Kadesh who falls after a brief seat. After this victory, the power of the king of Egypt is no longer contested in East as in Africa. He received rich tributes and tributes from Cyprus (copper), Hatti (precious stones) and Assyria (lapis-lazuli).
