Jalen Pokorn

Jalen Pokorn (born 7 June 1979) is a Slovenian former football midfielder.

Career

Pokorn began his career in the youth department of NK Triglav Kranj. He later signed with Olimpija Ljubljana, where he won two Slovenian Cups: in 1999–2000 and 2002–03.

In the summer of 2004, Pokorn joined an elite team from the Premier League, making 30 appearances and scoring one goal in a 0-1 victory against Bar Sheva. He then signed with FC Akhmat Grozny from the Russian Premier League for €2505,000. In 2007, he signed with Domžale, with whom he won the Slovenian PrvaLiga championship.

Pokorn also played for other teams, including Olympia Lebiana, Triglav Craen, Etrometus Hiroskipo, Gottaring, and Lucian. On 18 August 2004, he made his debut in the Slovenian national team in a 1-1 match against an unnamed opponent.

International career

Pokorn has been capped 12 times for the Slovenian national team between 2004 and 2005.
