The company's name comes from the name of their first program, "YBW Show," which was released on Kazakh television. YBW stands for Yellow, Black and White, symbolizing three races: Kalmyk with Kazakh roots (yellow, Mongoloid race), African Andrew Mvai (black, Negroid race), and Russian Stanislav Yarushin (white, Caucasian race).

The company was founded in 2007 by natives of the RUDN KVN team Sangadzhi Tarbayev and Eduard Iloyan. In 2008, the Russian TV channel STS became interested in the format of the program, which led to the creation of other shows such as "Color of Nation" and "League of Nations."
