Yigal Yavon (born 1944 in the Dalia kibbutz) is an Israeli film director, an independent writer and producer.

Roots

The grandfather of Yvonne, Wolf-Willem Paperman, was born in 1873 in Transylvania. In 1914, he joined the Austro-Hungarian Army and fought on the front until the end of World War I. The family then lived in the town of Hermmonstadt, most of which were German speakers. biography
