Yunus Emre Foundation is a public foundation that has been founded with Law No. 5653 and will perform projects for the promotion of Turkish language, history, culture and art.
The foundation was the first place of the Yunus Emre Institute. Yunus Emre Institute, which will conduct activities in Turkish language, culture and art through Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Centers abroad, to provide services abroad for those who want to take education in these areas, Turkey will concentrate on activities in a broad geography, for purposes such as increasing cultural shopping with other countries and developing friendship.
Yunus Emre Foundation started its activities in the historical building of Ulus on May 7, 2009.
