**Early Life and Career**

Yuri Anatolyevich Korovyansky was born on September 30, 1967, in Horlivka, Ukraine. He started playing volleyball at a young age under the guidance of his first coach, V. I. Petlyakov.

**Sports Career**

Korovyansky played for the national teams of the USSR (1991-1992), CIS (1991-1992), and Ukraine (1993-2005). He won several international titles, including:

* European champion 1991
* Winner of the World Cup 1991
* Champion of the CIS 1992

He also had a successful club career in Europe, playing for teams such as Orestiada (Greece), Paphos (Cyprus), Turcuen (France), Tour (France), Paris UC (Paris, France), Strasbourg (France), Alluin (France), and Cambre (France). His notable achievements in club volleyball include:
