Zaman (Cyprus)

Zaman was the first Turkish Cypriot newspaper.

History

The first edition of Zaman appeared on December 25, 1851, coinciding with the release of the Ottoman harvest. Although businessman Hacces Fedi was named as a government official, Osmanische Harvest Hall was the actual owner at the time.
