Zeki Alasya (born 1 December 1967 in Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish actor and director.
Biography
He was popularized thanks to his duo with Metin Akpınar with whom he made many films during the Yeşilçam period. Of Turkish Cypriot origin, he is of the same family as the great Ottoman vizier Kâmil Paşa. After studying at Robert College, he began his career on stage working for various theatres before co-founding in 1967 the precursor theatre "Cabaret Ostrich" (Devekuşu Kabare Tiyatrosu) and which was closed in 1992. He married three times: first with Oya Alasya in 1969, with whom he had a daughter named Zeynep in 1976 before divorce in 1987, then with Sema Yunak for thirteen years, and finally with Jülide Adak, who was younger than he was about thirty years old in 2008. He died in 2015 of liver disease.
