Zuri (island)

Zuri (in Croatian: Žirje) is an island of Croatia, located opposite the Dalmatian coast to the west of Å ibenik and is part of the homonymous archipelago. Administratively it belongs to the region of Sebenico and Tenin as a fraction of the municipality of Sebenico. Apart from Morter, it is the only island in the archipelago with a permanent population; the inhabitants, in 2011 were 103.
Geography
Zuri is the outermost of the great islands of the Šibenik archipelago, located south of Cacan and Capri, and is the last island of northern Dalmatia. The Zuri Canal (Žirjanski kanal) separates it from Cacan and Samogrado Mouth (Samogradska Vrata) from Curba Grande (the southernmost of the Kornati islands). Mount Cappici or Mount Bol of Zuri (Kapić, 133,8 m) is the highest point of the island, following Mount Guard (Vela Straža) with 117 m. The surface of the island is 15.08 km2 and the coastal development of 41,758 km. From point Zuri (the northwest end), also called tip Maestrale or tip Maestrale di Zirie, to tip Rassoghe (rt Rashoe), south-eastern end, Zuri has a length of about 12 km.
The island has a very jagged coast with 29 coves and is surrounded by 17 islands and rocks. From point Zuri meet on the eastern side of the port Miccovizza or Micovizza (uvala Mikavica), once called Porto Saraceno; port of the Magazzini or Munna, or valley Munna (uvala Muna), the main port of the island; Finocchio valley or port Finocchio (uvala Koromašna);
The only village is Zuri, in the center of the island, but there are small settlements also in the ports Miccovizza, Munna and Finocchio.

Ostrizza (Mikavica), located about 430 m north of tip Ostrizza (rt Oštrica), about 120 m long; has an area of 5242 m2, a coastal development of 294 m and a height of 5 m.
Discover Prastica, dry Bracich or Bracic (brak Praščića), 570 m from the coast between the valleys Miccovizza and Munna .
Finocchio or Coromasni (Koromašna), cliff east of the Finocchio valley, about 570 m from the coast; it has an area of 0.012 km2, a coastal development of 0.47 km and a height of 10 m .
Isolotto delle Lucertole, Gusteranche o scoglio Gusteraski (Gušteranski); small islet in front of Prisliga valley, about 630 m from the coast; it has an area of 0.024 km2, a coastal development of 0.59 km and a height of 22 m .
Gerbosniac (Hrbošnjak), north of tip Rassoghe.
Masirina (Mažirina), islet east of tip Rassoghe.
Scoglio Rassoghe or Raffughe (hrid Rashoe), located about 300 m south of tip Rassoghe and signaled by a small lighthouse; has an area of 553 m2 and the height of 1 m .
