Thomas Hoffman (born 18 March 1950) is a musician and founder of a school for the Dance in Jerusalem.
biography
Thomas Hoffman was born in Jerusalem to beautiful and Dave Hoffman, Holocaust survivors from Hungary, who arrived as elephants. The Alibaba in Jerusalem and the age of 13 began to learn music on a piano at the Academy of Music and dances on Robin in Jerusalem.
In 1968, he joined the IDF as an auditorium player in the entertainment and entertainment team. In 1974, he was appointed director of the city’s Jerusalem Dance Center – “The Beit Marina Nikova in Jerusalem.” At the same time, the Jerusalem Municipality served as the director of the Municipal Youth Orchestra and the House of Music. In the late 1970s, he was given his hands to run the urban "Rura Jerusalem" band, parallel to the role of a marketer as artistic director. Together, they worked for a decade as part of the band, representing the country in Europe, Brazil, Canada and the United States.
In 1988, he left the city and together with his wife’s markets and with his companions, Alex Wery Rock, set up a Jerusalem school for the boot – “Number.” At first it was a vision of the establishment of a beer school that would be a house for dancers with a variety of styles: classical ballet, modern dance, jazz, stoop, belly dancing, Fleming, Irish dance and dancing with.
After three years, there was an expansion of branches for the neighborhoods of Jerusalem and its surrounding areas: it was discovered, the Jubilee, the vineyard house, a red upward, a landmark, Telep and more.
At the height of the activity in Jerusalem, thousands of students were taught in the school during school year. With the change in the demographic character of Jerusalem, Tommy and Shuki decided to open a branch in Tel Aviv and in 2003 the new focus was opened.
In 2010, a branch in the Ono Valley established it until 2019.
In 2019, he established the “Model Center” in Hill Shmuel and the “Syon Building” that operates in cooperation with the Culture House and the Council in local Sunnis.
My mother is at the top of the administrative and organizational activity of a dance. He has conducted the tens of employees over the years and has accompanied thousands of students and their families. As part of his role as a manager, he is responsible for dance bands, board management (Canada, the United States, China and Europe), as well as production and performance management.
In 2003, he founded the “National Dance Conference in Eilat” and conducted it together with his partner, a daily fake until 2016. The vision was to establish in Israel earthly conferences in which a enriching and experiential encounter was created between all the different studio students – to create these shows in front of these, to impart experiences of culture and social values and encounters. Following the success of the conference, dozens of similar conferences began to operate in Eilat each year.
From 2019 to the present day, a producer who each year made the “Mega Dance Event”. International Dance Conference in Paphos, Cyprus.
