Sabaton is a Swedish Power Metal Company, which holds the title of "The Best Swedish Artist of 2012". The band is known for its songs, which deal with almost all wars and military history.

biography

The band was founded in 1999 and in 2000, released a demo album called Fist For Fight (which was subsequently released as a second line with their third album Metalizer).

In 2002, the band recorded its first album, Metalizer, but due to a dispute with the album's record company was not released at the time but five years later in 2007.

After signing with Sound Pollution/Black Lodge, Sabaton released her 2005 album Primo Victoria – a concept album that tells about 20th-century wars. Examples of songs from this album are Stalingrad – depicting the Battle of Stalingrad from the perspective of a soldier in the Soviet army who sees his comrades dying in the cold, Primo Victoria – the theme song of the album depicting the Normandy invasion andCounterstrike – a song depicting the Six-Day War from a pro-Israeli perspective and enriching Israel’s victory.

In 2006, a year after their first album, the second album Attero Dominatus was released in the same line of the 20th century wars.

In 2007, the band released the Metalizer album, which was recorded in 2002 but for unclear reasons had not been released until then.

In June 2008, The Art of War was released, which was the composer. The title of the album (and the song) refers to the book of the War Art of Sun Tesso. The book is also presented at the beginning of the songs.

On May 21, 2010, their fifth album was released (not including demos and collections) Coat of Arms. On this album, all songs refer to World War II, except for the last song Metal Ripper, which is a tribute to the Metal Crüe-style world and Metal Machine from previous albums.

The first video of the band was to sing Uprising from the Coat of Arms and released on August 1, 2010. Another video, this time Screaming Eagles was released on May 25.

The band appeared for the first time in Israel in September 2008 as part of The Art of War. Another performance of the band in Israel took place on August 27, 2010. This show opened their new album Coat of Arms, World War Tour 2010.

On September 24, 2010, renewed versions of the band's first four albums were released, which included bonus songs that were specially recorded for the re-issue.

Unlike many other bands, during the first 11 years (1999–2010), Sabaton did not perform appearances in America, but remained within the borders of Europe (except for a limited number of performances in Israel and Cyprus). In 2011, Sabaton first held appearances in North America as part of World War Tour.

On August 5, 2011, a performance album titled "Battle of the Baltic Seas" was released from December 2010.

On May 23, 2012, the band released its seventh album, Carolus Rex. The recording began in January that year. The album, unlike the previous albums of the band that dealt with modern wars, deals with the 17th-century Charles War.

On March 31, 2012, the band's soloist confirmed the rumors, announcing that the two guitarists, Oskar Montelius and Rikard Sundén, drummer Daniel Mulback, and the Clinton Daniel Mÿhr, are leaving the band for an uncertain reason, and Shea has recruited its members of the following band:
Chris Rörland and Tamobbe Englund on guitar, and Rubban Bäck on drums. In addition, the band announced that she was still looking for Kleinden, but until that, the band would use the recording
