At its exit, it is first available in 5-door sedan and from November 2000 in Combi (break). It is not until the beginning of 2001 that this version is marketed in France.

In essence the range includes the 1.4 8 valves that develop 68 hp, of Skoda origin, which will then be replaced by the 1.2 of 55 and 65 hp, of Volkswagen origin. Above, the 1.4 16v engine ( Volkswagen origin) is declined in 75 and 100 hp. There is also a 2.0 8v of 116 ch.
Production of the 5-door version stopped in early 2007. The 4 doors and the break are made until the end of the same year. The 5-door sedan accounted for the majority of production, with Combi contributing 37% of the total and Sedan contributing only 7%.
