Éric Pichet (born 1960) is a French economist and graduate professor at the KEDGE Business School who specializes in market finance, monetary economy, fiscal economy, corporate government and fiscal government.
Biography
Graduated by the School of Higher Trade Studies (HEC Paris) and ESORSEM (French military academy), Éric Pichet also has an IMI (postgraduate in Homeland and Real Estate Management) by the KEDGE Business School. In 2006 he was doctorate in Management by the Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale (ULCO) with the thesis "Convergence des pratiques de gouvernance dans les gran sociétés cotées" (Convergence in the corporate governance practices of the large companies listed). At the same university he obtained in 2008 his qualification to supervise doctoral (HDR) with the dissertation "Une analyse hypermoderne des gouvernances contemporaines" (A hypermodern analysis of contemporary social government). In addition, he is a doctor of law at the University of Panthéon- Assas with the thesis "Essai d'une théorie générale des dépenses socio- fiscal" (Towards a general theory of social and fiscal spending).
Pichet began his career in the French stock market and stock market Cholet Dupont. He then went to work at HSBC, where he began negotiating options and derivatives and then became a financial analyst (member of the French Society of Financial Analysts SFAF). He has also worked as an independent financial expert and has served as an independent adviser since 2004. Member of the IFA Research Centre (French Institute of Administrators), he is a member of the board of directors of several French investment companies such as Twenty First Capital, Management 21 and Signaux Girod (in which he also chairs the audit committee). Pichet also collaborates with several international quoted hedge funds and chairs the board of directors [1] of Diapasón (Lausanne). Finally, it belongs to the APM (Association for the Progress of Management), where it also serves as an expert, and is president of CORAL, a French think tank that brings together authors, editors and publishers.
Professor of Economics at the KEDGE Business School, since 2000 also runs the post-graduate program in Homeland and Real Estate Management (IMPI) offered by that business school. Pichet is a fellow at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, an associate researcher at the Laboratory of Analysis and Research in International Economics and Finance (LAREFI) at the Université de Bordeaux IV and, since 1990, a professor at the training centre of the SFAF. In 2011, he published a methodological guide to obtain the HDR rating in France. The book, entitled "L'art de l'HDR" (The art of the HDR) offers advice on the preparation of the dissertation necessary to obtain such qualification, as well as on the supervision of candidates for doctors.
