Career

Club
He began his career in Olimpija Riga. He went abroad, in Lithuania, first to Zalgiris, then to Panerys and finally to Poland.

In 1999 he changed continent, playing in Asia with the South Koreans of Anyang. After two seasons he passed to the Russians of Anzhi where he remained a few months.

After a short return to Dinaburg, he returned to Lithuania, with Zalgiris and Poland.

He closed his career at home at Jelgava.

National
He played his first national race on February 6, 2000, in a game of the international tournament in Cyprus against where he immediately scored. He also repeated in the second meeting (again with Lithuania) that in the third (against Finland).

He played in all 5 games with the national team by scoring 3 goals.
