Zvi Kneer was also written: Canar; 17 July 1929 – 18 April 2009) was an Israeli fantasy player and writer.
His books refer to the Holocaust, which as the Holocaust survivor accompanied him throughout his life.

biography

As a candle, he was born in Sqland, Poland, in a traditional family.
During World War II, from 1942 to 1945, the number of concentration camps in Poland and Germany, including Buchenwald, and survived the marches of death. After the war, he found his mother and sister among the survivors. In 1946, the Land of Israel from Italy with the children of Salvino, was exiled to the detention camps in Cyprus and finally arrived in Israel and joined the kibbutz of the Sharon Guards in the excavation valley, where the Babylonians in the youth rise. In 1948, he joined the Palms, passed a maritime course in the kibbutz and fought in the War of Independence. He served on the ship F.39 and participated in several naval operations. In 1949, he was released from service and worked as a sailor on the board of passenger ships.

He later attended the School of Game by the Cumer Theatre in Tel Aviv, and in 1955-1957 he studied a game and a fantasy in Marcel Marso and Atane Duroux in Paris. His studies have been a fantasy actor in Paris, Belgium (more than 20 years), the United States and Canada. He divided between Belgium, the United States and Israel.

In the 1980s, he began to write: a tragic-come fantasy; he wrote, directed, and performed a play called “Berkh, Jacob, fled,” to the fantasy and Crane, based on his childhood memories in the Holocaust.
In 1984, he began to write in Yiddish as part of the "Yotag" in the United States, publishing stories in several Yiddish newsletters, including "Farvants".

In 1990, he returned to the country, but added to appearing abroad.

His first book, How Oren Lam, published in 1994, won him in 1997 as a book and art award for your home.
In 1996, his second book was released, "I'm going to hurt a brutal victim." This book was won in 2000 in the Icycque Manger Award for literary work in Yiddish, and it was translated and saw light in 2002.
His first two books deal with Holocaust experiences. His third and final book, Ephesh Hat Mich, Nacht Ignosssselin: Ignore, which saw light in 2003, focuses on the release of the camps and life in the country.

In addition, he played in the theater ("Behind the Lie" for York at the Acre Festival; "The Walking in the Dark" for Levine in the stage theater), in film films ("Electronic blanket and Moses name", "The Train of Life"). From 2002 to 2003, American Zionists raised his last presentation, "Being", also on the Holocaust.

Zvi Kner lived in Tel Aviv until his death in the spring of 2009, at the age of 80.
